Our company FCC – Five Continents Connection – is an International Freight Forwarder located in Shima Street 15 Pengkol, Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia. It was established in 2004. The scope of work that we occupy is to send furniture worldwide both for Air Freight or Sea Freight. Of Sea Freight itself, there are 2 kinds : LCL ( Less Container Load ) and FCL ( Full Container Load ). LCL means that any customer sends only some pieces of furniture and we co-load with other customers’ items. In LCL, the delivery cost is determined by the quantity of cubic meter. While FCL means that the delivery uses a container of 20 feet, 40 feet or HC.
As the times goes on, one of our customer – from Jamaica – gives us a job of Quality Control in 2010. By then we had to visit from one company to another one around Jepara city to do QC of our above Jamaica customer.
All in all, our knowledge of furniture increases again and again and at the same time we really understand which companies could manufacture of their premium quality. This competence comes from our experience since that 2010.
Shortly we would like to talk about the commodity that Jepara manufactures and exports. Jepara produces wooden furniture and wooden handicraft as well. In particular, they export teak wood indoor and garden furniture like table, chair, bed, bench, cupboard and natural teak root furniture. All in all the best furniture is recycle teak wood furniture. Why ? It is 100 % dried. Besides they also export wooden handicraft such as teak wooden utensils namely wooden fork, wooden spoon, and wooden cutting board. Jepara could make furniture from teak root wood exotically and even they could make furniture from recycled teak wood.
So far we export teak wood garden furniture and teak root benches and chairs partially to our above Jamaica customer. Are you ready to co-operate ?
